JulieLike many of the people who choose animal care as their vocation, I entered into it because I love animals. And animals seem to love me. August Animal Care is my only job, so you can be assured of 100% of my attention and dedication when it comes to caring for your pets and home. Besides having many animals of all sizes and shapes in my life, I worked for several years at a local animal shelter. While there, I gained an enormous amount of experience in animal care and behavior. Photographing animals is also a passion of mine (learn more about my animal photography). GingerI feel so fortunate to have found a vocation that is so well suited to my life and lifestyle. I entered the field of animal care as a veterinary technician many years ago and moved to the medical technician field and then once again was drawn back into the animal care world as a groomer and animal care technician. I love to see the bonds between pets and people evolve. I became involved in August Animal Care when I was in the position to leave my own pets after moving to a new area and saw how relaxed my two dogs were with in home care. SuzieI moved here from Florida July 2005 picking up my girl Mollie from Boise on the way. Mollie is a special girl with special needs. Her health issues are what led me to a receptionist position at Redwood Animal Hospital. Working at Redwood gave me the opportunity to meet so many precious animals and their families. I soon realized how much I enjoyed being around them and happy to say the feeling seemed to be mutual!Being part of the team at August Animal Care is such an amazing and rewarding experience...I am now able to spend time getting to know each pet and their unique personalities. What fun! It's truly a privilege to be entrusted with their care. They bring such Joy and Inspiration on a daily basis. I can't think of a job that has a better benefit package than that! HeatherI have been an animal lover all of my life and enjoy working with them! As well as having 4 dogs of my own, I also work with Animals First Foundation, a local rescue group. It's fulfilling to help those animals less fortunate, and I'm grateful for that opportunity. Animals seem to sense my compassion and feel secure around me. MollyMy most rewarding experiences have come from the extreme pleasure of being surrounded by animals of every shape and size throughout my life. I had a long, wonderful, and educational career in 4-H horses and goats and have now moved on to the University of Washington. I hope to obtain a degree in veterinary medicine, and have volunteered in the veterinary clinic of an animal shelter where I looked after and assisted in medicating the special needs cats and dogs. I have also worked several consecutive years for satisfied horse, dog and cat owners who trust that I will love their 'kids' like I do my own.
